Nick is optimistic that today's selection could challenge for this handicap chase.
At Fontwell today in the 2.05, Glimmer Of Light appears to have a solid chance in this handicap chase. Last time out at Hereford he showed much improved form when finishing second to Thievery at Hereford when he was just overhauled on the run in. Now that this gelding has found his form he should go very close in this event. Currently he is trading at [2.82] on the exchange.
Today's Selection:
Fontwell, 2.05, Glimmer Of Light, Win

At Uttoxeter in the 2.10 Call Me Legend is a filly on the upgrade based on what she achieved last season, notably when running an excellent third to Carole's Legacy at Aintree in a valuable NH Flat race and the form of that race is beginning to take shape quite nicely. She is sure to know her job today and should go close in this event.
Today's Selection:
Uttoxeter, 2.10, Call Me Legend, Win

At Newcastle today in the 1pm Raysrock should go well in this chase over two-and-a-half miles. On his first start this season this gelding ran very well over the larger obstacles, finishing a decent third to Crocodiles Rock at Carlisle. He gave me the impression that he would really improve for that run and should be very competitive in this race. In addition the pilot is well worth his claim. Currently he is trading at [3.55] on the exchange.
Today's Selection:
Newcastle,1pm, Raysrock, Win

At Lingfield today in the 1.50, I am going to give Satwa Street one final chance to win his maiden. This colt again ran well in defeat last time out when finishing a solid second at Wolverhampton and it is interesting that his trainer has employed a jockey claiming 7lbs today. Hopefully this will help get this horse home today .At present he is trading at [3.25] on the exchange.
Today's Selection:
Lingfield, 1.50, Satwa Street, Win

At Wolverhampton tonight in the 7.20 Partner Shift is a horse of interest in this maiden race on the Polytrack. This gelding caught the eye on debut when finishing sixth to Star Links at Lingfield at the end of October. He did meet some trouble at the start of the race and could have finished a little closer. He gave me the impression that there was more to come and he should go close in this event. Currently he is trading at [3.0] on the exchange.
Today's Selection:
Wolverhampton, 7.20, Partner Shift, Win

At Lingfield today in the opening race at 1pm Kielder Rise should relish the underfoot conditions in this hurdle race. On debut this filly ran very well when finishing second to Crow Spinney in September in a NH flat race but appeared not to enjoy the ground when finishing fourth to Deep Squeeze in October. She should go close today with conditions to suit. Currently she is trading at 2.68 on the exchange.
Today's Selection:
Lingfield, 1pm, Kielder Rise, Win

At Carlisle today in the opening race at 1.20, Bywell Beau should go well in this race. In his last race at Kelso he lost quite a bit of ground by jumping out to his right and in the circumstances did well to finish third to Kalahari King. He should come on for that recent run and should be suited by this course today making him more competitive.
Today's Selection:
Carlisle, 1.20, Bywell Beau, Win.
