This weekend sees the much anticipated fight between Britain's rising star Amir Khan and Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera. The fight will take place this Saturday in Manchester, England.
Barrera is a champion at three weights and has had 64 wins from his 71 fights. Olympic silver medalist Khan has had 19 wins from his 20 fights, but many still believe he still has a way to go before he realizes his full potential. This is an amazing opportunity for Khan who has been longing for to prove how good he feels he really is.
Khan seems confident that he can win this fight and has talked it up as 'Age v Experience', but unless Barrera is starting to feel his age then it surely must go to the Mexican great.
Barrera is currently available at odds of 2.28, which I feel could rise slightly in the lead up to the fight. Another interesting market for Barrera is the 'Method of Victory' market. He is available (at the time of writing) at odds of 3.8 for KO, TKO or DQ.
It should be a great fight and betting aside, I can't wait to sit back and enjoy the spectacle!
