Magic set to roll on

Nick Shiambouros correctly predicted that Orlando Magic would bounce back against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday Night. After that convincing display Nick explains why they are right back in the title race.

Orlando shot an unbelievable 75% in the first half with outstanding play from Rafer Alston and Dwight Howard. In fact the whole rotation played as well as I have seen all season.

The Lakers, led by an in form Kobe Bryant, tried valiantly to keep pace with Orlando and were amazingly only five points down at the half. The Magic turned up the pressure in the second half but the Lakers kept pace until the final minute of the game. I held my breath as Rashard Lewis made two vital free throws in the final seconds to win my handicap wager and hold on for the win.

Game four takes place at Amway Arena on Thursday and this is another must win game for the Magic. I hope Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy retains this rotation and sticks with Alston again as I think he is the x factor in this series. He may be a journeyman player but he has experience and more importantly has the courage to take the shot when needed.

I will be reloading on Orlando on Thursday as I feel the momentum has shifted slightly in their favour. It promises to be yet another close game but I think the Magic can even the series.

Recommended wagers:
Thursday, back Orlando
