NBA Predictions

Back Warriors to carry the fight tonight

The Betting Advantage previews tonight's game between the Pacers and the Warriors and tells us his top tips.

The Indiana Pacers come into tonight's game losers of four of their past five. Over that stretch the Pacers have allowed 103.6 points. When Indiana can hold opponents to under 100 points they are quite successful. The problem is that it rarely seems to happen, especially on the road to a team that can score.

The Golden State Warriors are definitely a team that can score. The Warriors rank third in the league in points per game with 108.5 and average over 110 at home.

The two teams squared off earlier this month in Indiana with the Pacers coming out on top 108-94. The Pacers were hot from three-point land going 7-14. Earl Watson was 3-for-3 from beyond the arc chipping in with 16 points, while Danny Granger had a game high 31 points. The Warriors struggled from the field hitting on just 37 of 92 shots.

Granger has been bothered by a sprained ligament in his left knee but intends to play through the pain.

I really like backing the Warriors in this one. Home court advantage plays a big part in this match-up. The Pacers are 2-3 on the road this season but their two road wins have come at the hands of the New York Knicks and the winless New Jersey Nets. You can back the Warriors at 1.78 (-128).
