MLB Betting: Minnesota Twins @ Chicago White Sox

The Betting Advantage attempts to find the MLB betting value in tonight's game between the Minnesota Twins and the Chicago White Sox.

The Minnesota Twins are looking to track down the Detroit Tigers in the American League Central. The Twins currently sit 2.5 games behind the Tigers with both teams winning last night.

Tonight the Twins will look to complete a three-game sweep of the Chicago White Sox. The Twins are turning it on at the right time as they have won eight of their last nine. On the other side the White Sox have lost six of their past seven.

Brian Duensing will take the mound tonight for the Twins. Duensing is 4-1 on the season winning his last four decisions. The southpaw's last two starts were both shutout wins. In his last start he went six and a third innings, allowing just four hits against the Tigers. Previous to that he went seven innings, striking out six in an 8-0 win over the Oakland Athletics. Since becoming a starter the 3rd round draft pick in 2005 is 4-0 with a 1.70 ERA.

Mark Buehrle will start tonight for the White Sox. Buehrle has struggled as of late losing his past two starts. His last start was an 11-0 loss to the Kansas City Royals in which he gave up five earned runs in six innings.

I like the value with the Twins tonight, even without Justin Morneau and Joe Crede in the line up. You can back Minnesota right now for [2.08] on Betfair. You may be able to get a better price a little closer to game time.

The under in the totals market may also be worth a look. The under has cashed in 11 of the past 15 White Sox home games. The under is also 7-2 in the past nine Twins road games.
