MLB Betting - The Texas Rangers versus the Tampa Bay Rays

Eric G previews this weekend's MLB clash between The Rangers and The Rays

This is a great game between two teams gunning for a Wild Card spot in the American League with two young, promising pitchers taking the mound. David Price was the top pitching prospect going into this season, especially after his phenomenal playoff performance last October. However, he's been good, not great since getting call up in late May.

He's able to strike out batters by the bunches, but has a bad habit of giving up timely walks and hits, which is evidenced by his 5.03 ERA. He could have his day cut out for him against the Texas Rangers which is why I like the Rangers in this game, especially since they're the dog at 2.04.

Texas already got the better of Price on July 4th when they hashed out 6 Earn Runs in 1.1 innings of work. They have his number. Texas also happens to be 5-0 in Feldmans' last 5 starts as road underdogs.

Scott Feldman has put on a fine season at 12-4 and while his ERA is a tad high at 4.06, it drops to 3.50 on the road and 3.43 during day games. He also beat the Rays once this year, pitching 6 Innings, giving up 1 Earned Run.
